Samya is a Melbourne born DJ calling London home. Known for creating energy filled sets that keeps dancers glued to the floor to the early hours. He seamlessly blends soulful funky sounds from all around the world, blending underground disco, old school house and electro, drawing
inspiration from afro-Caribbean sounds.
Samya has his own collective called sonic bloom. Putting on hugely popular events at the BBE record store and the Jago. Samya is a resident at the Jago and has played at Westival, spacetalk, Oslo and Nt’s, to name a few. He has played alongside such dj’s as Norsica, Theon bower,
Davide, discoexotic and sonido.
Away from the decks, Samya is currently working on edits, drawing attention from some dj heavyweights that you will just have to wait and see, some exciting collaborations are around
the corner.
