“Cardboard Wolf is a septet from London, sporting a mix of electronica-infused bangers, soulful jazz jams and outrageous horn lines. Fronted by Gustavo Clayton-Marucci on clarinet and bass clarinet, and Sophie Burrows on tenor saxophone and flute, with Gerry Brazell on keyboards, Antra Lante on guitar, James Dibble on bass guitar, Luke Bainbridge on percussion, and Chris Pott on drums, Cardboard Wolf brings a unique and vibrant sound to the London jazz scene.
Broadly jazz fusion in style, Cardboard Wolf blends international influences such as Latin-American, Balkan, and West African rhythms, with flavours of EDM, house, funk and soul.
Cardboard Wolf have been performing together as a quartet since March 2019, releasing several studio and live EPs and singles. Cardboard Wolf’s expanded septet lineup now offers new musical worlds to explore, featured in their all-new material, with releases planned for 2026.

The Adventures of Carmen Llena’s Trio features Eliot Whitehouse on bass, Frank Hawkes on drums and Carmen Llena on trumpet. Blending acoustic instruments with electronics, the trio explores different funk and experimental grooves and textures, pushing the instruments to the limits of the sounds they can create. Their set features mainly original music and open improvisations driven by dance rhythms.
