DJ Moussa, one half of the Tottenham-based French/Ivorian duo Mamoussa. Since 2018, the DJ duo have been championing DIY club culture in London, playing the music they love – from afrobeats and afrohouse to disco and beyond, never tied to a single genre.
Since 2022, Moussa has collaborated with NYC-based @MoCADA Museum’s radio, producing the show The Independents, an exploration of African independence that draws on music from the era alongside archival recordings, showing how independence movements shaped music and how music became a space of resistance.
