Sweetnighter is a monthly party created by SweetNightJoe, aka Joseph Russell, in London. We bring people together to celebrate musical expression through the love of vinyl — an all-welcome dance floor where deep selections of global grooves, cosmic jazz/funk, disco, and soulful sounds collide, all strictly on wax. This month, Joe will be taking the controls solo for a full 6-hour set — no guests, no interruptions, just one journey from start to finish. Expect a night of deep listening and heavy dancing as we travel across continents and decades: from hypnotic Afro rhythms and cosmic funk to spiritual jazz and late-night disco burners.
